The cuisine is superb and is a mixture of Mediterranean and influences from the New World, the vegetables being straight from the garden, meat from local farms and the fish straight from the coast. The large terrace outside is also an ideal setting to pass away those warm evenings surrounded by the crystal clear skies of the Costa Brava.

The hotel offers you two options: the first option is the room Pere Margarit, located in the medieval knight room of the castle. This room is naturally bright. The second meeting room is located in the old wine cellar, with its ancient and thick stonewalls. This room is beautifully decorated and has magnificent views over the Eastern side of the mountains, as well as over the castle's gardens. It has direct access to a private terrace where one can work or enjoy a coffee break. It can hold up to 24 people. Castell d'Empordà is located 30 minutes from Girona's Airport, which is roughly a two-hour flight from various major European airports.
