The new golf centre at Montjuic in the heart of Barcelona opened on the 17th June and sets out to integrate the sport of golf within the city. Set on the side of Montjuic mountain and just below the Olympic stadium, Golf Montjuic encompasses 35.000m2 exclusively for the practice of golf in Barcelona. Barcelona Golf Montjuic boasts an excellent driving range combined with a Par 3 pitch and putt course.
The Golf Montjuic par 3 pitch and putt course consists of 9 holes with double tees and distances which vary between 70 and 120 metres living a total of 1500 metres and par 27. Furthermore to complete all this there is a driving range, chipping area and putting green. A man made river, 3 lakes and various bunkers only add to the enjoyment of this golf centre in Barcelona.
The covered driving range at Golf Montjuic boasts 50 tees in two tiers with heating to make practice in winter that little bit more comfortable. The driving range is 240 metres long and 120 metres wide allowing practice with all clubs.
