Hotel Torre del Remei is a 23 room luxury hotel in Bolvir, near Puigcerda, the capital of the Cerdanya area of the Pyrenees. It was built in 1910 as a mansion for the daughter of a wealthy upper middle class Catalan and remained so until the civil war when it was taken over by the Republican Goverment and used for many things such as a school. Luckily it was never looted or damaged and was re-discovered in the 1980's by the present owners, who fell in love with the building and decided to renovate it into a quiet country hotel offering the highest levels of comfort and luxury. Thus in 1991 the Hotel Torre del Remei opened it's doors once more, this time as a luxury hotel. The eleven rooms in the main hotel are all different, tastefully and elegantly decorated in keeping with the rest of the hotel.

The hotel offers every service imaginable to it's guests in order to make their stay as comfortable as possible. Chef, Josep Mª Boix has won numerous awards for his prestigious cuisine, carefully selecting many of the ingredients from the kitchen garden in the hotel's grounds. The building is set in two hectares of beautiful gardens which are dotted with benches where one can relax and take in the majestic surroundings or take a dip in the gardens swimming pool.

The Royal Cerdanya golf club is only 1km from the hotel and Fontanals is also close by. This hotel also has helicopter landing facilities.
