Daniel Pérez is the Owner and Managing Director of Barcelona Golf Travel, bringing over 20 years of senior experience in golf tourism, luxury travel, and international sporting events. His career spans hospitality, destination management, and elite golf operations, with a strong focus on delivering premium, detail-led experiences for golfers from around the world.
Daniel began his professional journey at just 19 and went on to build a long-standing career at La Mola Hotel & Real Club de Golf El Prat, one of Spain’s most respected golf destinations. During his tenure, he progressed to the role of Commercial Director, overseeing international sales, strategic partnerships, and the delivery of high-profile golf and corporate events.
In 2015, Daniel formed part of the organising team for the Spanish Open, followed by continued involvement in the Barcelona Open alongside the Spanish PGA. He has also led and supported numerous private tournaments and luxury golf events for global brands including Audi, Lamborghini, and Audemars Piguet, further cementing his reputation within the high-end golf and events sector.
His expertise is reinforced by extensive international exposure, attending key global golf industry events such as NAC (USA), IGTM (Europe), and the Salon du Golf (Paris), as well as regular presence at DP World Tour events including Wentworth, the KLM Open, and LIV Golf Valderrama.
Daniel’s relationship with Barcelona Golf Travel began many years ago when founder Ian Denham was a client, regularly bringing international golf groups to Daniel’s hotel. This long-standing professional relationship evolved into a shared vision for the business’s future. Following Ian’s decision to step back from day-to-day operations, Daniel acquired the company to lead its next chapter.
