“Costa Brava is one of my favourite regions to put together a trip around, because the variety is genuinely remarkable. You’ve got Camiral, which is ranked the best course in Spain, sitting alongside historic clubs like Pals and dramatic coastal layouts like Club de Golf d’Aro. Add in the scenery and the food, and it’s very hard to have a bad week here.”

Costa Brava enjoys a Mediterranean climate, which makes it a year-round golf destination. Spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) are generally considered the most comfortable months, with warm but pleasant temperatures and fairways at their best. Summer is hot and busy with holidaymakers, while winter rounds are still very playable and often quieter and better value.

Costa Brava is a large region, so travel times vary depending on which course you are visiting. Courses closer to Girona, such as Camiral and Emporda Golf, are generally under an hour from Girona-Costa Brava Airport. Courses further north near Figueres, such as Torremirona and Peralada, are also well served by Girona Airport but sit further from Barcelona, typically around 2 hours by car.
