The long awaited opening of the Westin Bonmont Golf Resort & Spa will finally take place in June 2019 and Barcelona Golf had the opportunity to have a look at the new facilities early last week. The charming Mediterranean design blends in well with the superb Robert Trent Jones Jr golf course of Bonmont Golf & Country Club and its well established and luxurious clubhouse, the latter complementing the former to provide a varied and tempting gastronomic offering.
The distinctive 5 star resort gives a sense of well-being, nestled at the foot of the Mediterranean hills whilst affording glorious views of the surrounding coastline. The deluxe terraced rooms are spacious and well appointed as one would expect from the Westin brand and each has the signature Westin Heavenly® Beds.
The Westin Bonmont has 135 rooms and suites, 3 restaurants including the Terres del Tarraco main restaurant with show-cooking, the Enclave Music Tapas Bar and the Terrasse Pool Restaurant and Bar. One can rejuvenate with soothing body & soul treatments in the full service spa, get up and running in the Fitness Studio, tee off on the Golf course or just laze around the amazing Roman Bath Waterfall Pool.
The Bonmont Resort is a great base in which to discover all the Costa Dorada has to offer: Mediterranean cuisine, world class wineries including Priorat and Montsant, charming countryside, the majestic beauty of the Delta del Ebro natural reserve, Tarragona’s Roman culture and modernist art and other great golf courses to play such as the Greg Norman designed Lumine Golf or Costa Dorada Golf Club.
